2nd Test Results

[W]e must remember that there is no evidence of any new tumors in the torso. That is good news. According to Dr. Yang, some people go months before any real sign of change occurs. Even if the tumors are “killed”, the scar tissue can hang around awhile before the body removes them.

11/11/08 I  was diagnosed with melanoma last Tuesday.  Friday I underwent an MRI and PET/CT.  We spent yesterday (Monday) afternoon at the oncologist’s where we reviewed the MRI brain scan and the PET/CT.  We found some lymph nodes under the left arm that were affected and a small bump next to the original incision.  There [...]

11/6/08 I sent out an email to friends saying that my bloodwork was fine – liver, infections markers, etc.  That is good news.  I go in tomorrow for PET CT and MRI, then to the oncologist on Tuesday for results and further discussion on my condition.
